Deborah Smothers
Deborah joined our team as our Community Affairs/Public Relations Specialist in July, 2022. She also is the Assistant to the Board of Trustees. Deborah started working in the public sector in 2010 with the Ohio Department of Education and then with the Ohio State University. During her time with ODE, she was a legal assistant and was also the liaison to Ohio Homeland Security where she focused on multiple school safety and security initiatives with the SaferSchools Ohio team. Deborah is a Columbus native and a resident of North Linden since 2005; she is very familiar with this area as well as many of the businesses and owners. She is excited to be part of the Clinton Township team and one of her goals is to increase resident awareness and participation in our community. She loves being outdoors, and also spending time with family, close friends, and her pit bull dog, Sheeba!
