Fire Suppression

The Clinton Township Division of Fire uses modern firefighting practices to effectively and efficiently mitigate fires and other dangerous situations in our community.

The Division’s engine (pumper) responds to approximately 1500 calls per year. All members are FFII certified by the State of Ohio.  The Division averages 150 hours of fire training per month.

Close the Door!

The simple act of Closing the Door can save lives and protect property.  If you can not escape, Closing the Door between you and the fire may give you the few seconds you may need to survive a fire in your home. If a fire occurs in your home, after everyone is out, close the doors as you leave.  The reduction of air movement into your home will greatly reduce the amount of fire damage that may occur.
