Officer Jeffrey Bingham Receives Award of Excellence!

Officer Jeffrey Bingham received the Award of Excellence for 2023 from Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Officer Bingham's' attention to getting impaired drivers off the road led to his nomination of having the most OVI arrests in Clinton Township over the past year.  Congratulations Officer Bingham!

Officer Jeffrey Bingham has distinguished himself with his dedication and commitment to OVI enforcement. Officer Bingham, while balancing calls for service, has led Clinton Township Police Department with 27 OVI arrest to date this year. Along with the OVI arrest, Officer Bingham has recovered four stolen firearms, one firearm involved in an attempted homicide with arrest of attempted homicide suspect, and numerous stolen vehicles. Officer Bingham has continuously taken an active role in the Franklin County saturation patrols and is directly responsible for making the roadways in Ohio safer. His continued training is Standard Field Sobriety Test and Advanced Roadside Impairment Detection, results in an impeccable ability to thoroughly investigate impaired drivers. Officer Bingham’s professionalism and dedication reflects greatly on the Clinton Township Police Department and the Law Enforcement community.
